Icebound

I disagree. Despite this book being a stretch from what you call his "norm," Koontz loves exploring the depths of different possible world scenarios and probing deep into the darkest corners of a psychopath's psyche. While this book didn't have the typical sci-fi touch that most of his other books do, it had a completely new level of blatantly plausible reality to thrill your socks off.

One Dean Koontz's best...

it is not a typical dean koontz type. i didn't expected this from dean koontz. he wrote much better books than icebound.

It was a great book, I think it would make an awesome movie, lots of action and tension. Finished off exactly to the second!

didnt like it as much as his others that i have read, it seemed to be slow!

This is my frst Koontz book. It's not bad but it's not as good as deception point. I think I'll give the guy another try with another book. It's the type of book that you are happy to finish so that you can grab another "may be better" book. But again I can't say it's bad. For those who like adventures and tight situations, they will be happy with this one. Interesting. So far.
