Not too bad. I liked that it moved along well the story was interesting but I didn't feel as strong a connection to the characters as I do for my favorite books.

I'm really, really trying to like this but it's been hard. It seems similiar to a million other books I've read, with a different cover. I'm almost finished with it, and I'm hoping it goes out with a bang, thus enticing me to read the rest of the series.

Another "tough as nails" (but without the heart of gold) sorceress. This one is out to save her life, and incidentally her city. Felt like deja vu all over again...

Not bad overall, though I did feel slightly disconnected through the book.  I wasn't entirely sucked into the world, which happens upon occasion.  I'll probably give the next one a go and see how it reads.
