The Hunt for Atlantis: A Novel

Great read, keeps you interested from the outset. Pity the next two books were not as great as this one.

The diaglogue was very fresh and I loved how the author brought in current events/items (ie, iPod's). I did have trouble actually picturing the main characters as there really wasn't a description of them until towards the end, but some of the ancillary characters were clear as a bell in my mind.   hide

I bought this on the cheap from Asda. It sat in my book pile for months before I finally, grudgingly, began to read it. Within a chapter or two i was totally and utterly gutted i had left it so long. I bought this on the cheap from Asda. It sat in my book pile for months before I finally, grudgingly, began to read it. Within a chapter or two i was totally and utterly gutted i had left it so long. The book was brilliant. Funny, exciting, gripping and probably totally daft. I love good action stories no matter how daft they are but this really did it for me. Okay you'd have to be Stevie Wonder not to see the ending coming a mile of, but still it's great fun as it gets you there.   hide
