Killer Dreams (Eve Duncan)

This one can be a bit spooky but still keeps you wanting more. Not for the faint of heart.

Again, the audio version. Unfortunately, a character named Jock is supposedly Scottish. Listening to the fake Scottish accent is a bit unbearable considering both my parents are Scottish and is a bit distracting. I've heard better fake accents. Update: almost finished and the book sounds like a bad made-for-tv-movie. Maybe after Sophie and Royd pro-create, they can call their offspring 'Stare' just to match the cheesey-ness. Sounds as though the author is pulling in elements from 'Terminator' and such. I don't think there will be much redemption at this point. Finished-->read better. I think my husband would like it, though.   hide

have read and loved most of Iris Johansen's books. As in all her novels, I love the fast paced action, but could do without the romance. She has kept me reading way into the night for years now and will remain one of my favorite authors for years to come.
