One of my favourite authers at the moment, and have absolutely loved most of her other books. Hide really should be read after reading Alone, otherwise some of the things going on will not make sense. The tension and twists keep coming up the end, which however, is it's weakest point. Bobby Dodge certainly came out as a much more likeable character in this story, so maybe there'll be more...more

Fear was evident in this story. It's what was promised, and boy did she deliver! Her creation of the characters was superb and her portrayal of the disfunctionality of the main character was realistic. Great read
I liked this book. It had likeable characters
I really liked this. Gardner does a great job of throwing you twists and turns and red herrings. Just when you think you're getting it figured out, a new detail emerges that changes everything. This was so suspenseful that it had me listening on my morning *and* afternoon commutes - I’m usually an afternoon listener only. I've liked the Bobby Dodge books a lot more than...more
