Good story. Not as good as other "Odd books," but a worthy addition to the character's life.

I'm starting to find his sarcastic banter between ALL the characters, although sometimes funny, annoying & boring. Practically veryone, even the nuns have this sort of "wit". It's getting rather predictable.

Another great edition to the Odd Thomas series! additionally, it is a completely different story, adventure, and formula than the previous two which most authors don't do in a series. Hurray Dean Koontz for breaking pattern and being a badass! I was very sad to see a familiar face leave forever though.. ah well, here's to new adventures ahead!
