The contents are indisputably good: fascinating insight into Buffett's mindset, and into his decisions. There are a number of investments covered in this book that I never knew about (his partnership investments). The book also does a good job of introducing some of the crucial people around Buffett, especially Charlie Munger (who really does sound like Buffett's twin)....

I think this book is important enough that I bought this from a bargain sale in a bookshop (for S$15, vs. the listed price of S$47. Talk about value investing...)
Why only 2.5 stars then? The writing style is ABSOLUTELY PEDANTIC (even by my standards), and hides the gemstones underneath a lot of unnecessary stuff. Ms Schroeder has a TERRIBLE way of introducing new characters: she doesn't just introduce them, but often starts by introducing their GREAT grandparents first, before working her way to the person in question.
There is also a rambling manner to the text, which often feels very disorganized: it's a bit like Tolstoy's War and Peace, only more rambling without a central theme, and stylistically less elegant in prose.
