This book really was "okay." It started off with some great examples, however I think it made its point early in the book, and then like so many other books, just kept repeating itself.

The implications of this book are stunning. Regressive statistical algorithms prove to provide far more accurate prognostications than any amount of 'experts'. The corporate world is already using this stuff in ways most of us can barely imagine - 'brave new world' indeed!

I got this book from the Maths Award at Cushing. At first, I thought it would be an extremely boring book, but as you read it through, it had its particular taste. However, it cannot compare with the "Freakonomics" or "The World Is Flat". Maybe I am just not smart enough to read this book. If I have to think by numbers for every second, it will drive me mad.
