I could say "Sweet and Simple" but really, it's not fitting to this book. The reason why I am tempted to say that phase is because it is short, Odd Thomas is lighthearted and optimistic ... he finds a climax and goes with the flow with his special skills. This is not a complicated book, a more relaxed reading than Knootz's other books. Odd Thomas has entertaining conversations...more

Mr. Dean Koontz never fails to surprise his readers with this latest installment of the Odd Thomas series. The book finds Odd a defender of good, undoer of evil deeds, trying and failing to live a quiet life. For the fans of Odd we know that will never be a reality for this haphazard hero. And Wether you believe his gift is just that or a curse you will not be able to put this thriller down.

Though I love this character this book just wasn't up to par with the rest in the series. I love this guy! Great series from one of my fave authors. Even though this character is loveable and charming. The story itself dragged on and it was not one of Dean's best efforts. Did Frank Sinatra move on???? Maybe it was all just to close out the series but I hope not. I love odd Thomas!

The worst "Odd Thomas" adventure I ever read. It was quite boring. There was a lot I understand. The plot is getting cheezy..

A darker glimpse into the unique character of Odd. Even though it was different than the first two books, it was a great read.It was very different than the first two novels, but this character is so gripping that I will any book he is in. Plus, there are some little nuggets about Christopher Snow that die hard Koontz fans will catch onto quickly. Makes for a fun and enjoyable read.

I love reading about Odd Thomas adventures including this latest one. Following Odd through his adventures has been exciting. If you don't know who Odd Thomas is, I suggest going to your library or bookstore and picking up this book - Odd Thomas (#1). (Other books in this series are Forever Odd-book 2, Brother Odd- book 3 and finally Odd hours- book 4; you won't be disappointed) I...more

Ugggggh! New Dean Koontz is way too descriptive and it seems he rushed this latest Odd Thomas piece too quickly to appease the growing demand for more stories from this quirky character. First Odd book was great but they have declined since then. I am only reading them because I feel I have too.
