A decent read, but really not what I was expecting from Koontz. I was disappointed that Samantha did not play a bigger role in the book. I also hated how the first two parts were done in much more depth than the last part. The ending was a good twist, but it built up and then fell off rather drastically. And, I absolutely hated Ryan's characterization. There was nothing in his personality that made me want to feel sympathy for him.   hide

Good book. Not my favorite from DK.

Not one of my favorites by Dean!!!! I think the girlfriend was a mute point in the book like she supposedly had knowledge that she knew his choices and he had to pick the right one ...but if he didnt know she wasnt giong to tell him....it was missing soemthing in my opnion.
