this was a very good book, but i thought he could do more with the characters. to me it definitely was not the same style he's normally written.

the ending was a lil too metaphysical 4 my taste but would luv 2 C the actual Puzzle & Riddle (& of course it's great that koontz always seems 2 have dog characters in his recent books, irish wolfhounds R awesome)

Bad book, ok beginning, but as the book progresses it gets worse and worse. The ending is so bad....so rushed. I thought and was hoping that this book was going to be part one of 2 maybe but he wrapped everything up (poorly) in the last couple chapters. Very disappointed.

I just started reading this book on 1/23/10. I'm only 6 chapters in but so far I am enjoying it. At this point there are 4 seperate stories going on simultaneously, and all 4 are intriguing. So far so good.

Dean Koonz writing gets more different every time I read one.  This was a good read, but not much like his earlier books if that's what you are looking for.

I don't think Koontz knew how this was going to end when he started it.  Really good up until the last 50 pages.
