Fear the Worst: A Thriller

Great read!

This is almost as good as Too Close To Home. A must read for those who like thrillers.

Barclay's smartly-written thriller about a man whose teenage daughter suddenly disappears keeps the reader engaged by revealing just enough to preserve the mystery as the story whipsaws along to the somewhat formulaic ending. Barclay's smartly-written thriller about a man whose teenage daughter suddenly disappears keeps the reader engaged by revealing just enough to preserve the mystery as the story whipsaws along to the somewhat formulaic ending. He does an excellent job putting the pieces together with each chapter. I felt like I was assembling a large puzzle as each chapter passed. It was so intriguing that I finished it over a few days (it normally takes me much longer given the little time I have to read). The plot is excellent, but my only complaint would be that the ending took a proverbial turn with certain predictable characters biting the dust at the same time. It is definitely worth the read though.   hide
