While all the books in this series do lead into the next, the others do not stop mid-way and just end disappointingly. Abrupt transitions and the murder you can see coming a kilometer away made this book seem a bit lesser than the other Bryant...

While all the books in this series do lead into the next, the others do not stop mid-way and just end disappointingly. Abrupt transitions and the murder you can see coming a kilometer away made this book seem a bit lesser than the other Bryant and May tales.
Still enjoyed the London esoterica that Bryant brings, and all the characters retain their unique personalities and charm (even if they are under utilized). Looking forward to the next book to see how this ONE story is wound up.
