I agree with what Gemma has written (below). I loved the character of Emily and found myself relating to her in many situations. The book contained both moments of hilarity and heartbreak as (and here come the cliches) Emily embarks on a difficult journey of self-discovery trying to "find herself". The secondary characters were also brilliant: Jess, Ruth, Mason and Grandpa Jack all bringing something to the story. Loved it!   hide
