Unfortunately sometimes even the best of men take a poop and then show people.

Kind of disappointing. Usually love Douglas Adams books and Terry Jones comedy, but this seemed like sort of a lame copy of the Hitchiker books.

I decided to buy this book after picking it up at a library and reading the introduction, and I have to say it goes downhill after that. Even though it's based on a Douglas Adams story, the writing of Terry Jones just doesn't compare to Adams'. It has it's funny parts and is a pretty short read but in my opinion, you'd be better off reading something else.

Though this is Douglas Adams Starship Titanic, it was not written by Adams. It was written by former Monty Pythonite, Terry Jones (in the nude, no less, according to the introduction), which gives it such and absurd, off-the-wall effect that one cannot help but be amused and drawn in by this book.
