A really fascinating book telling the stories of everyone from a walmart greeter, telephone psychic, food stylist, corporate headhunter, UPS driver and CEO.

Big slice of humble pie for anyone complaining about their current job. In particular, see "Correctional Officer"

Becca recommended this to me, and I've recommended it to everyone I've encountered since. Light, easy to read, and totally fascinating. Makes me glad that I don't work in a chicken factory.

This book changed my life. I never looked at the world the same way again.

One of my favorite books ever, mostly because the stories are funny and real, and I like the wide variety of jobs the authors considered to be work, like the unpaid positions of mother and convict, and the underground positions of drug dealer and porn producer. The stories are only a few pages long. This might be a fun book to have if you work with HSkids plus.
