Hobbit is best, then goes downhill imo.

very good! fantastic imagery and storyline!

My all-time favourite book. I first read it when I was about 13 and I remember someone in the family asking if I was reading a book about boxing (I suppose Peter Jackson changed all that)! Pick it up again every few years and have now read it 6 times. (Last read 2007)
