Another story that scratches deeper from teh surface. This is an appealing and quite delightful look at a rather dark subject - child abuse. Portrayed through the eyes of delicate dream-bearers, an empathic elderly lady and an angry young boy, it is a compelling read. I polished it off in one sitting.

This book takes you into a world of imagination and dreams. It relates on the themes of curiosity of young minds, child anger, family abuse, love and friendship. A quick simple read, take fifteen minutes out of your busy schedules to read this heart-warming story.

This book is at about a fifth of sixth grade level. Because of this, the plotline might frustrate older readers in need of a more adult story. Bottom line; if you enjoy watching a good Pixar movie now and then, you'll like this book too.
