Never realized just how much I like medieval everything until now. Swords, betrayal, lust, horses, Merlin zooming around all over the place and knowing everything, the characters doing things they have been told they will regret...what more could you ask for?
Fantastic book, brilliantly translated for readers of today to read of the glory of legends bygone. This book is so detached from Steinbeck's other Californian American Dream novels but this is a book to treasure!
