Without a doubt, one of the best vampire books I've ever read! I don't think I've ever been more freaked out by a story and believe me, I read a lot of scary books adn watch horror movies all the time. King is a master in his craft!

Interesting; not quite what I thought it would be.  This book feels like reading a Cormac McCarthy book with lower diction and a less complicated storyline.  Overall an enjoyable read for those monster lovers out there.

King's definitive vampire piece is still creepy thirty years later. Definitely no "Twilight" drama in the Lot and we thank you for that, Mr. King.

Excellent vampire yarn, which I really enjoyed. The situation escalates nightly as the vampires multiply. I love the number of characters and side stories that King writes about. Highly recommended. Never mind Twilight, read this!

My first Stephen King book and still my favorite.  Classic Vampire battles, and I really loved how King depicted the church as a force in itself against evil.  In my opinion, better than IT.

Not my fav but still good.  This still reminds me of the fall season because I read during that time of the year and cool crisp days remind me of this book.  I would even sneak off to the cemetery behind my house to read.  I was sure home before dark came.
Too creepy!

Perfect! Vampires are not supposd to be loved (Sorry to all Twilight fans..) they are supposed to be staked! I like the fact that Stephen King raised the evil factor on vampires.
