First & Only (Warhammer 40,000 Novels)

It wasn't a bad little read.

So far so good, seems like a natural extension of the Peter Hamilton Reality Dysfunction series, particularly the supernatural aspects of the plot.There's a whole bunch of books in the series waiting for me, can't wait to go through them soon :>

The first book in the military science fiction series "Gaunt's Ghosts" follows the Tanith First regiment and their inspirational leader, Colonel Ibram Gaunt, through two nightmare warzones set in the 40k universe. While the book suffers a little bit from having to take steps to introduce so many characters, the plot is neat and the series got off to a good start with this volume.
