A tremendous work by anyone's standards - a fitting biography for one of the 20th century's most important men.

Fantastic. The most detailed Disney biography to date. The single best biography on Disney to date. The details were amazing. Only for real Disneyphiles.

I liked this book. It showed the real man that Walt Disney was, and it showed a great deal of how the Disney company worked and, in some ways, continues to work. I would have liked to read more about some of the films themselves, but that wasn't the focus of this book, and other books are out there that focus on the movies. Well worth reading!

This is a really strong, unsparing, but sympathetic look at Disney that really puts his accomplishments in context.
