A good selection EXCEPT there's very little of his middle period (The Book of Images, New Poems 1907, and New Poems 1908) which I consider his best work. Happily there are the great Edward Snow translations of these 3 books in their entirety, so with all 4 books you would have a collection of almost everything you would need to experience what I consider the greatest poet since Shakespeare....

Mitchell's selection includes the entire Sonnets To Orpheus as well as some previously unpublished work.
