The Thin Man

It's good but it's really dated, and reads like a 1940s studio picture.

Dashiell can truly twist a plot line. His protagonist was more confused than the audience, but found manages to find the truth before the reader.

The quintessential pulp detective novel. I still liked the movie a bit more though, which is almost unheard of.

It's taking me a bit to get into it, but I'm pretty much enjoying it....

Actually like the movie better... that's a first.

Sure it's a "period piece" and everyone should read at least one Hammett. I have done so now, and that's enough for me. Pitiful.

A real 1930's read. Which was fun, however, I guess I'm just not a mystery fan.
