The axis powers ended up winning World War II and as a result, they divided up the world (and the US) to their liking. In the novel, there's a man who writes of an alternate Earth, where the allied powers had won the war instead. Ultimately, this novel raises a lot of interesting questions about reality, fakes, and events that shape our history. If you're a Sci-Fi fan, history lover, or you're just looking for a book that'll grab your attention from start to finish, then I highly recommend this PKD classic.
