These are masculine poems that burn with a quiet fire. These are also poems that eschew easy emotions and conclusions in order to capture with heartbreaking accuracy the difficulties of letting go and moving on from the ones you love. There are also poems that dare to talk to God and live to tell about it.
Brilliant book. A very touching account of the subtlety of love and letting go of one's wife and being.
A great read for anyone who has lost something special. The fires of his wife's death and where he is now in relation to God and their past both together and separately burn desperately throughout this book.
