Well written and very disturbing. Glad I read it at least once; but I'm not in the mood to read it often.

Beautifully written and disturbing. Well worth a read, but this is not a book for the faint of heart.

A lovely siren turned me on to this book ages ago, maybe Mishima's best single novel. I eventually read all his works in English.
