Excellent review of the Tatcher's years... Simply brilliant: a good analysis of British society in the 80's combined with a good intrigue.

What a murder mystery whodunnit! Hilarious banter, creatively descriptive writing. Just a delicious book, with twists at every turn. I highly recommend it!

Saw this book the the stores but kept passing it by. Then Rachel sent me it :) and it's pretty good. I skipped a lot of the boring parts, and there are more than you'd expect. however, the aching beauty of a failed perfect day out on Xmas was a good scene.

For me, the most enjoyable JC book. Great evocation of those Thatcher years.... shiver.....and an author who flexes a lot of literary muscle.
