A good read.

I had to read this for school and i fell in love with a very moving story of hope and growing up, a must read!

My favorite aspect of this play was the dialogue. I suppose that's not too amazing as there's little more to a play than dialogue. However, the way she conveyed the Southside dialect was sweet. May seem a little dated now but a good one for students of the dramatic form in African-American theatre.
