The best of Edmund White's trilogy.  The concept behind the title is amazing - I would like to rip off the idea and write a play based on it.

god, seriously, this is a historical piece that makes you feel like you are living in the pages. great new york lit.  the perfect amount of smut in a really honest gritty way.
