As a Georgia girl myself, this book was like a familiar old comfy shirt that had been stowed away in a box in the attic for years.Ms. White’s characters are immediately old friends and neighbors. It is a light read, full of the life and beauty of a small town in the South.I actually didn't "read" the book, but listened to an audio recording of the author reading it while I completed the binding on a quilt for my nephew. Her Georgia drawl made the story even more enjoyable.   hide
