more Overall, this is a wonderful book. If you're interested in spirituality but not a specific dogma, this is one of the better books out there. It touches on a lot of different myths, spiritual and religious systems, and overall emphasized the connections between them all and that everyone has to find his or her own path. It also addresses four different components to holistic spirituality: the mind, the heart, the body, and the spirit. As with other reviewers, I do recommend it be read slowly and savored, and with highlighter in hand. If you're like me, many passages will be highlighted before you're finished.
The only thing that sort of bothered me was the amount of emphasis Lesser put on working with a therapist. While it can be helpful, that can prove impractical if your workplace limits how much time or how often you can take off, and/or you are uninsured and paying for the therapist out of pocket.
