A Farewell to Arms

Oy, kids, all right: bit of controversy here. While the love story was good and the war bits were good, I thought he was long-winded and kind of numb (lacking in emotion.) I kind of don't get the hype (le sacrilege!) Let me know what you think of Hemingway*. *I love his short stories.

Every couple of years or so, I come back to this. Have been reading it since I was eleven so it's like revisiting an old friend.
