Excellent, but difficult, defense of the argument that descent with modification can fully explain all of the diversity of nature.

I've read this one to shreads. One of my absolute favorite reads. In this book he tackles perhaps the most important subject matter in a decisive manner. It's well written, clear, captivating, and an all-round enjoyable read. So many more questions left off course, but this book leads the way in understanding how they may best be approached.

Though his style can be a bit dense, and to my mind, his analogies are more complicated than they need to be, Dennett still lays a strong foundation for those searching for meaning without the crutch of religion. It's definitely worth the read, but be prepared to actively think your way through some clunky paragraphs.

A cool and canny review of the philosophical implications of Darwin's theory of evolution and its development over the past century.

An enlightening book, but definitely not a quick read.

Una obra mestra que explica els motius que tenen algunes persones per acceptar les tesis darwinistes.

5 stars for modesty, and an unfaltering energy in the fight against stupid quasi-religious opposition to evolution. Caveat lector: This is *not* a simple book to read. Dennett is smart and his writing takes more effort than your average popular science book. Not one you can read casually in an afternoon.
