Uglies (The Uglies)

Not usually a sci-fi girl, but I really like this series. I always push it on the middle schoolers (who also love it!)

AWesome but takes a while to get into

My daughter had to read this for her 8th grade summer reading assignment. Not what I thought it was going to be when I started reading it, but by the end I had to see how the series ended! Very good book. Not sure if it's YA or not, but still a great read.
