very interesting read, not necessarily the easiest but it puts hope in people who have none and gives understanding of people's differences more than most other books.

Fantastic modern novel -- more fun than many of his other works, as he provides 4 perspectives on a post antebellum home, starting from that of a mentally challenged sibling, to a suicide, to a parasite, to a servant's outsider's view. Quentin is a favorite character of mine, and he's the central character of Absalom, Absalom.

This book is nuts. Some of the best work in American literature. I should read it again.
