I started reading the first book because my daughter loved it and asked me to read it. But I must say that I enjoyed it so much that I decided to read the rest of the series. It's great for teenagers because it's based on a 12 year old boy who's growing up with the knowledge that he's special and important to the world's fate. Mix in lots of mythological characters and you have a great mix of fun and fantasy just like the Narnia books.   hide
