Book 5 in the Gaunt's Ghosts series of novels.  Another brilliant campaign.

One of the best things about Sci-Fi has always been about the completely alien world you get to see.  The best thing about Warhammer 40K is you get to have a crazy war on those worlds!  For example this one is about a battle for Phantine: a planet that doesn't even have a surface.  Everything, including the cities, either floats or flys.
 
This book made me realize Abnett plays for keeps...more

I liked this book a fair bit, but i was just upset about what happened at the end of the story. But over all it was not that bad of a 40k book.
