Having been reviewed no less than one billion times I should only like to add that I loved the story, characters, mystery and romance! Also I have never laughed so much whilst reading Shakespeare. Hilarious!...xx

This play is groundbreaking in a sense that Shakespeare created a world much like the present. Where reality and fantasy thrive side by side in the same realm. He connects the humans to the fairies with their inherent frailites or inability to remain spotless of blame in every situation. It was his farcical attempt on the idea of fate. What is fate? Who controls it? Obviously, Willy Shakes...

This is a great comedy. For awhile I was a fan of reading dear old Willie's plays (outside high school english). Puck is a legendary figure. He is the weave by which the play winds itself around the other characters. I finally got to see a live version of the play at the Globe Theatre in London. I love it. It is so funny to see Puck make Bottom's head turn into that of an ass and then Titania falls in love with him and doesn't know what the hell happened the next day when Oberon takes the love spell off of her. The plot surrounding Helena, Demetrius, Lysander and Hermia is pretty great too. Helena is crazy, but makes the story so much better than it would have been without her. It is...more

One of my all time favourites by Shakespeare. This is a fun story whose title describes it perfectly. The atmosphere is dreamlike, the characters apparitions. Once you get past the language here you'll find a beautiful story and an eloquent examination of the human animal in love.
