This is my favorite of Shakespeare's comedies. It's a wonderful selection to use when teaching the different types of irony. Plus I like to use this play with high schoolers because it doesn't come off quite so high-brow. They relate to the characters, misunderstandings, gossip, love triangles. Like most of Shakespeare's plays, so I'm not your average reviewer here, you'll mostly read praise. Comic timing, wonderful meter and rhyme, probably a shorter and easier read than many of his plays. Give'er a go.

One of my favorite Shakespearian plays. I tend to relate so much with Beatrice and her relationship with Benedict. She is so strong willed, yet gentle within her origin.
