Plus I like to use this play with high schoolers because it doesn't come off quite so high-brow. They relate to the characters, misunderstandings, gossip, love triangles. And on the more seriously academic side of things, the play also illustrates Shakespeare's skill with language and sophisticated understanding of human nature which makes him so universally applicable.
