If you like the Janet Evanovich "Stephanie Plum" series, you will probably like this series. A little bit more suspenseful, probably.

I'm gonna be raining on parades here...

I don't think I'll be reading any more Scarpetta books - i just haven't engaged with them very well, and don't think they are for me. I never really get to the point of caring very much if the criminal gets caught or not. This is very much a contrast with Michael Connolly's novels which engage me much more that Patricia Cornwell's
