Been a while since I read a James Herbert book, but seemed to get the plot going quicker than in some of the other books I have read, I liked the way each of the key characters previous history was gradually introduced, without giving away too much of the plot and keeping the suspense going until the last chapter. Not a book for the squeamish out there, but would not disappoint horror fans who like a good story plot as well as plenty of blood and guts.   hide
