more Fantastic book!(more about that in a min)...but the e-read cover design does not do it justice and refers the Gor series books to only one type of reader. I have the complete series of the UK star print(which there isn't an image to tag on we'read:(, but will tag the American Daw print instead). So much time and thought were put into these covers and images and encompass the many many themes that John Norman develops in his stories of Gor. Ancient history, adventure, philosophy, science, Love, Sex. I really could go on:) Have read the first 5 books and still love them. Tarnsman of Gor is a great start to the series (very funny). The wit of Tarl Cabot is brilliant! and the characters that he meets on his journey are interesting, beautiful, comical but yet somtimes, harsh and brutal. They act as a complete contrast to Tarl's programmed male, western, modern, mindset (that he first struggles to adjust out of). Really couldn't recommend this series any more. Try this first one out, youll either love it or hate it. But im sure you will be addicted by the end of it:)
