more Remember the first time you look at your newborn and think 'you're not so tough I can do this.' That's what this book did for me. It tuned me in, turned me on and we dropped out! ha! Through testimonials from children and parents, glimpses of one mom's homschooling diary, you're able to see how it's done - which is silly really, since every homeschooling/unschooling family does it their way. Some chapters were ones I didn't need, others stated the obvious - read. go to a library - and the one that cautioned parents to take a good hard look at why they want to US/HS took me aback for a moment. Broke my high. But in the end, the book is a big confidence builder for anyone thinking of taking the leap from institutionalized schooling to homeschooling.
