more This book differs from others about the attack on New York City. It's split into three sections: before the attack, during, and the recovery of the city. The book is told through the eyes of six characters: a family, a blind man, a hero in hiding, NYFD and a trapped grandmother, Mayor Gulliani, and Mohammad Atta. To the writer's credit, the voice of each character is strong and true. As a reader, it was extremely difficult to read the sections told as it would have been seen through the eyes of a terrorist, but it was a different view point. The pictures are raw and emotional. It was emotionally difficult to read, but interesting to see events from the eyes of those who went through it.
