Dracula

This book sucks, for me at least. It was really boring and I'd say 90% of the book was just unnecessary description. This book was not entertainment to me.

This is one book you just cannot put down till the last page!

Reading the book is scarier than watching any of the 5,000 Dracula movies that have since been made.

One of my fav, novel.This gothic novel is the prototype for the modern vigilante/horror-terror genre - we all know the story of how count Dracula of Romania invades and terrorises 19th century London... While it explores themes that are still prevalent today - the fin de sicle, dilution of culture by foreign influx... I feel it borders too closely on the absurd to be enjoyed as a novel on its own.
