As I am a big fan of Dune, this is IMHO the most dissapointing book of the whole series so far (along with Sandworms of Dune). The story has so many holes and condtradictions, that it looks like these two books were written by authors with no respect to Frank Herbert's work - which apparently is not true and that makes me even more dissapointed and sad.

The lack of perfection so known in Dune world was the only thing crossing my mind while reading these books, looking forward to finally read to an end and stop the torture.
These unforgivable failures put into the shade all other positives of these books, so I am not able to describe them and I don't think it is neccessary.
Do not recommend to read since you really like original masterpieces, but as a fan of Dune I would read it whatever reviewers are telling me :), so see for yourselves. As a fan to a fan : be ready for a disappointment
