Card is expanding his genres, which is awesome! This first medical thriller/sci-fi is intriguing the whole way through and fast-paced by the halfway point. It has great character development, as Card always has.
Mostly written by a different author (co-credited) from a movie script collaborated on by Card. Deceptive in the billing of the authors, definitely not worth buying.
Gripping sci-fi that combines who-done-it, with genetics and AI. Predictable romance and villans but a nice read, none the less. Bought it for a trans-Atlantic flight and left it in France for some other bored soul.
I am very meticulous in choosing books to read. This writer is an LDS member so I took the risk in choosing this book (1 of many he's written). I am very happy to say he is an extraordinary writer. You sci-fi readers out there I recomend this book. I love how the story unfolds and the ending as well. Way to go Orson can't wait to start reading your other books!

Stopped reading this book mid way through. It might get better by the end but I am not willing to invest tthe time to see. This boook is billed as a Orson Scott Card book but it is an Aaron Johnston book. It is not a style of book I am likely to read and if you are tempted to read this just because Orson Scott Card's name's on it, don't.
