The Bonehunters (The Malazan Book of the Fallen, Book 6)

The return of Fiddler and company with some sightings here and there of newly introduced characters. The saga continues - I enjoyed that there was a little more time spent with "The Master of the Deck".

Steven Erickson was an Archeologist before he started writing. When you read his books you can feel the ancient, the undiscovered, the rituals of humanity, the forgotten. His characters are raw, flawed and human...even when they are not. In my opinion Steven Erickson is the best Fantasy writer to date.
